And some names are absolutely perfect. For example, the name <i>Sterling</i> signifies quality, precision, polished, conforming to the highest standard---in short& excellence. <p> <i>Sterling</i> formed in 1995. Members Bryan Pulver-Baritone, Ross Larrison-Bass, Todd Reavis-Lead and Randy Fly-Tenor, enjoy performing an exciting combination of dynamic uptunes, finger-snapping swing tunes, touching ballads and spirit lifting gospels. <p> We are an energetic foursome who have been fortunate enough to have been awarded the Men's Barbershop Society's &quot;SPEBSQSA&quot; 1996 Southwestern District Novice Quartet Championship, 1996 Buckeye Invitational Overall Quartet Championship, 3-time Hill Country Chorus Invitational Quartet Championship the 2002 Southwestern District Quartet Championship and are 2003, 2004 and 2005 Men's Barbershop Harmony Society &quot;SPEBSQSA&quot; International Quartet Semi-Finalists. <i>Sterling</i> recently qualified for the Barbershop Harmony Society's 2006 International competition being held in July. <p> <TABLE> <TR> <TD><IMG SRC="fly_new.jpg" align="left" valign="top"></TD><TD WIDTH="15"><BR></TD><TD valign="top"><i>Tenor</i> <b>Randy Fly</b> has been barbershopping for 27 years. He has been a member of the Houston Tidelanders Chorus, the Hill Country Chorus of New Braunfels and is now a proud member of the Heart Of Texas Chorus. The Heart of Texas Chorus voted Todd 'Barbershopper of the Year' in 2002. Todd blames his parents, Paul and Marguerite Reavis, for his passion towards singing barbershop music. Pulver</b> has roughly 5 years of experience in the barbershop world. Choosing to make music his life-long passion, Bryan is a Music Education major at Texas State University. In addition to Sterling, he sings with the Texas State Chorale and The Heart of Texas Chorus. He is also a proud member of the Heart of Texas Chorus.
